Looking For Something A Little Different As A Group Or Family Activity? Play FootGolf At Walt Disney World® Golf!
In early 2018, we introduced the popular game of FootGolf on Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, our 9-hole walking course. Since then, the game’s popularity has grown tremendously, as a new opportunity for fun group activities, including families, and is suitable for players of all ages. The game requires minimal prior experience or knowledge, other than the ability to kick a soccer ball.
What is FootGolf? It is a precision sport, combining characteristics of both golf and soccer. The rules of the game are very similar to regular golf, with course features such as tee boxes, bunkers, and other challenges, though there are no direct water hazards to kick the ball over. The objective is to kick a soccer ball from the tee box to a green, that contains a larger, 21-inch diameter cup, marked by an orange flag, sizeable enough to accommodate a soccer ball. As with regular golf, there is a mix of par 3, 4 and 5 holes and the goal is to use as few kicks as possible. The game is also designed for quick play, with 9 holes typically played by a foursome in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Our 9-Hole FootGolf course is Certified by the American FootGolf League (AFGL), the governing body for the sport of FootGolf in the United States. You do have the option of a complimentary, same-day replay round, based upon availability, after finishing your first round and checking in with the pro shop.
FootGolf play is available after 2:30 pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Dress for FootGolf is similar to regular golf, with turf/soccer shoes or supportive athletic shoes, though there is a tradition of wearing shorts with knee-length argyle socks and a flat cap, but this is not required. You are welcome to bring your own soccer ball or use one of ours.

Check in at the pro shop for a membership card, and then be sure to have the card stamped in the pro shop when you check in for each round. Get 5 special stamps on your card, within a 90-day period, and get your 6th round complimentary!
