Getting To And From Your Walt Disney World_® Resort Hotel And The Golf Courses

One of the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World_® Resort owned and operated hotel, is that the Walt Disney World_® Resort provides free taxi transportation to and from your hotel and each of the golf courses. That even includes the gratuity for the taxi driver!

For many of the Walt Disney World_® Resort hotels, it will take you around 10 – 15 minutes to get to the courses, so be sure to give yourself enough time to get to the courses, check-in at the pro shop, spend some time at the range and practice putting green before your round.

Based upon your tee time, the travel and pre-round practice time desired, figure out when you want to be picked up at the main hotel entrance.

Call or go to the Guest Services desk at your hotel at least 30 minutes prior to your desired pick up time and have the Cast Member arrange for the taxi. The Cast Member at Guest Services will give you a voucher, which you will then give to the taxi driver to cover the journey and gratuity.

For the return to your hotel, go to the pro shop after your round and ask the Cast Member to arrange for your return taxi. It may take 10 or 15 minutes for the taxi to arrive, so please plan accordingly. The Cast Member will also give you a voucher for the return, which again includes the gratuity for the taxi driver. When you get back to your hotel, you can again give your clubs to the Bell Services Cast Member for storage. Don’t forget to get your clubs from storage before you head back home!

Another convenience offered at the Walt Disney World_® Resort hotels, is the ability to store your golf clubs with Bell Services, rather than taking up space in your room, which you can do when you check-in to the hotel on arrival. Just ask a Cast Member upon arrival to arrange this for you. If you take advantage of this, be sure to give yourself some extra time before your pre-round taxi pickup, to have a Cast Member retrieve your clubs from storage.

Also, if you are playing multiple rounds of golf at the Walt Disney World_® Golf courses over several days, you can also arrange to store your clubs with us between rounds. We will even move them between courses, for example from Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course to Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, for your convenience. When you finish your round, check with the Cast Member in the pro shop for this service.
