Disney’s 81 Holes of Golf

Walt Disney World has four 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole golf course on the property. Two great 18 hole architects, Joe Lee and Tom Fazio, will present you with various challenges in design and course strategy on championship caliber courses. Combined with Disney's world renowned level of service, you will have a great experience playing these courses, whether staying at a Walt Disney World resort on vacation or for a business trip in the area.

The three Joe Lee courses (the Magnolia, Palm and Lake Buena Vista) harken to the original days of Walt Disney World and more traditional Florida golf course design. The Palm and Magnolia courses currently host the annual PGA Tour professional event in the fall of each year, which has been a part of Disney World golf tradition since 1971.

The Tom Fazio designed Osprey Ridge course brings an updated approach to course design with interesting challenges and elevations in the midst of the more remote parts of the Walt Disney World property.

The nine hole Oak Trail walking course, designed by Ron Garl, provides a unique opportunity for younger or less experienced players to enjoy a round of golf, with a mix of par 3's, 4's and 5's. It's great for a family golfing experience with young kids!

Golf, Golf Digest, Conde Nast Traveler and other magazines have consistently rated the Walt Disney World Resort as one of the top golf resorts in the United States, with additional awards recognizing Disney's "Family Friendly" environment for family golfing experiences.

Disney's golf courses have also been certified as part of the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Golf Program.

On course food and beverage cart service is available and GPS yardage system equipped carts are available on the 18 hole courses. Rental clubs and shoes are available at each of the courses, if you are traveling light and/or make a last minute decision to play. Each facility has locker rooms and showers for your use before and after the round. Practice ranges and greens are available for pre-round warmups and lessons are also available from Disney's PGA of America Professionals.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can book your tee times up to 90 days in advance and can utilize free taxi service to and from the courses. Others can book up to 60 days in advance.
